I’m now officially a man

It was my 18th birthday on Tuesday, so I’m now officially an adult male man. I had goo fun, even though I had a 2 hour exam. I only have 1 exam left now, then leavers day next Friday, then I’m done with college forever.

I’m still considering stand-up, and even wrote some material in my head the other day, not as a character as I had origionally envisaged, but as myself, talking about my family… I think it was quite funny, but I can’t remember it all now. I’ll definitely give it a go over my gap year, and if I get into uni I’ll try and get into a comedy club.

Phew!

Had my first exam of the summer yesterday morning- Nazis. It was the third time I have taken that particular exam and I think I acquitted myself better this time (if thats the right word. It sounded right in my head but it looks wrong written down in the context of that sentence. Fuck it, I’ll stick with it).

Was woken up this morning by my mum telling me to make my bed. I was still in it! How the fuck could I possibly make it?

I have realised that this blog may not be as daily as I had origionally hoped. I forgot to do it on day 2.

I’ve also decided that if I am going to make a start on my comedy career I am going to assume a pseudonym rather than use my real name, as this will allow me to construct a new (funnier) personality for myself.  Not that I know- I haven’t tried yet.

Right I’m bored of writing now.

My First Post

Hi! This is my blog. I’m going to use it to document my life from today until I get bored of it- probably tomorrow. I have an experiment that I am going to try as of my 18th birthday and post on this blog, as well as the fact that as of 26th June I am on a gap year until September 2010. Exciting. But not really.

That’ll do for now as I’m supposed to be revising.
